Package questions
Do prices include VAT?
Yes. All prices shown include VAT. The only other charge is the one-off installation fee shown on each package; corporate installations are confirmed after a site survey.
Is there a Fair Usage Policy?
No. All our packages are truly unlimited, with no FUP and no data caps. We only ask for acceptable use: Customers are expected to use the service responsibly. BBnet reserves the right to investigate misuse, abuse, spam and activities that negatively affect network performance.
What does the installation fee cover?
Residential customers contribute toward router and cabling costs while BBnet supplies and maintains the wireless radio (CPE), which remains company property. Corporate installations are surveyed and quoted individually. The residential installation fee is KES 2,500. Business and dedicated fees shown are starting prices, confirmed after the site survey.
Who owns the equipment?
The installed wireless radio remains the property of BBnet Communications unless otherwise agreed in writing. Customer-owned networking devices remain the customer's responsibility. The Wi-Fi router you pay toward at installation is yours.
